Huge high-fives to the amazing students from Clay High School Academy of Medical Science! They teamed up with Nurse Melzak and Ms. Kern to give our Kindergarten, First, Third, and Sixth graders a health check-up. Their blend of pro skills and big-heartedness made it all happen!

The Fleming Island High School AP Student Council is hosting their annual Fall Festival this Thursday, October 23rd, from 6 to 8 PM. This is a fun, FREE event for local families. There will be costume contests, trick or treat from student decorated trunks, free face painting, carnival games and free face painting!

Hi Manatee Families,
Throughout October, our school counselor, Mrs Curtis has been leading classroom lessons to support National Bullying Prevention Month and promote a positive school climate.
Over the past few weeks, students in 1st–3rd grade created drawings showing what caring looks like in action. These drawings were originally sent home with students, but we would love to gather some of them back to use in a building-wide display that celebrates kindness and student voices. If you still have your child’s drawing and are willing to share it, please send it back to school (to your child’s teacher) or drop it off directly at the front office.
In addition, lessons are currently being delivered to students in 4th–6th grade over the next two weeks, continuing our school wide focus on empathy, respect, and bullying prevention.
Just a reminder we ask all our Paterson students, staff, and families to wear ORANGE on Wednesday, October 22nd.
Thank you for supporting this important work and helping us build a caring school community! 💛🧡💙

The Florida Department of Education has announced the recipients of the prestigious "School of Excellence" title, and once again, Paterson Elementary has achieved this honor for the 2024-2025 academic year!
Congratulations to our Manatee students, teachers, staff, families, and the community for their dedicated efforts in achieving this recognition! Schools earn this title when their points from the school grade calculation are in the 80th percentile or higher, based on similar grade groupings, for at least two out of the last three school years!

Run/Walk has been CANCELLED because of the high likelihood of rain at 2:30. Your student will be dismissed as normal. Thank you for your understanding!
