📸 Fall Picture Retakes – Monday, Nov. 17
Manatee Families,
Just a friendly reminder—Fall Picture Retakes will take place on Monday, November 17th.
All Paterson students are welcome to participate if they:
➡️ Were absent on the original photo day,
➡️ Enrolled after the original photo day, or
➡️ Would like a retake of their original photo.
If your student is having a retake due to being unhappy with their original picture, please remember to return the purchased photo package to the photographer on retake day.
Please note: This is not a pre-order opportunity. A few weeks after picture day, you’ll be able to view your student’s proof by visiting www.leonards.com/order and selecting “Find My School.” A printed Second Chance proof will also be sent home with students or emailed to families once available.

Dear Manatees Families,
I hope this message finds you well. As many of you know, our school clinic stays busy each day caring for students who need a little extra TLC—a Band-Aid, a tissue, a change of clothes, or simply a comforting hand. It is my joy and privilege to support our students, and I’m so grateful for the love our Manatee community continually provides.
As we move through the school year, we are working hard to keep our clinic shelves stocked and our students warm, clean, and comfortable. We are also in the process of giving our clinic space a much-needed refresh so that it continues to be a safe and welcoming place for all children who walk through the door.
If you feel led to support our clinic, below are some items that would be especially helpful:
Items We Could Use:
• solid-colored stretch pants or sweats (preferably black)
• light sweaters, light jackets, or plain-colored sweatshirts
• new or gently used girls' and boys' gym shoes (sizes 12–8)
• underwear & socks (boys/girls)
Clothing sizes needed for boy/girl: 4/5, 7/8, 10/12, 14/16, adult S, adult M
How Can You Help?
Donations can be delivered to the PES front office anytime from now until the Christmas break.
If you prefer, monetary contributions can also be made directly at the front office or via Adopt a Classroom. Please select "Clinic" as your designated option; simply scan the QR code or click on the link: https://tinyurl.com/AdoptaClass2025.
Should you have any questions or need further information, feel free to contact me at 904-336-2584. Your support—whether large or small—makes a significant impact on the daily lives of our students. Thank you for helping us ensure our kids are healthy, warm, and well cared for.
With gratitude,

Manatee Families,
As cold and flu season begins, we’d like to share a friendly reminder about the district’s health policy regarding student symptoms and illnesses. Please review the following guidelines to help keep our school community healthy:
➡️ Fever: A child presenting to the health room with a temperature of 100.4 or higher (oral) may not remain at school. A parent should be called to pick up the student. Students with a fever are to remain home until they are fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of a fever-reducing medication.
➡️ Strep Throat: Children may return to school 24 hours after starting the antibiotic and 24 hours after the temperature is normal (less than 100) without fever-reducing medicines.
➡️ Conjunctivitis (pink eye): Student(s) may return to school when asymptomatic or when antibiotic treatment has been ongoing for 24 hours.
➡️Diarrhea: The student should be excluded from school until the diarrhea has stopped for 24 hours.
➡️ Lice: The parent is instructed to return to the health room (upon completion of treatment) with the child for clearance to return to school.
➡️ Vomiting: If the student is vomiting at school, the parent should be called and the child taken home. The child may return to school when they are well and symptom-free or after 24 hours without vomiting. If the vomiting is accompanied by fever, then the fever policy applies, and the student may return to school when fever-free for 24 hours (without fever-reducing medication)
We appreciate your help with keeping our students, staff, and families healthy!
