We hope all of our students, employees, and families have a wonderful, safe, and relaxing break! Please take note of our upcoming schedule and the dates our buildings will be closed to help you plan for the new year:

Dec 22 – Jan 1: Winter Break (Student Holiday)

Dec 25 – Jan 1: All Schools and District Offices CLOSED

Friday, Jan 2: Planning Day (No school for students)

Monday, Jan 5: Inservice Day (No school for students)

Tuesday, Jan 6: Students return to school! 🎒

Friday, Jan 10: Report Cards available via the Synergy ParentVUE app.

Our winter short story contest winners were announced this morning! These brilliant students wrote the most creative, top-tier winter-themed stories. First place was Rihanna Zelaya, second place was Michael Gregg, and third place was Kile McClain. An honorable mention also went to Bryson Futch. Their stories are displayed in the media center. A big congratulations to these wildcats who are demonstrating incredible writing skills!!

Please join us in congratulating our P.R.I.D.E. Student of the Week Myanna Ginn. Ms. Iacob chose Myanna because she enters class with a cheerful readiness every single day. She finishes all her work and assists her tablemates should the need arise. Myanna is always excited to participate, and her excitement affects others in a positive way. National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day serves as a solemn reminder of the cost of freedom.

Clay County District Schools joins the nation in honoring the memory of those who perished at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and recognizing the strength of the generation that followed.

We teach our students the importance of remembering history and respecting the sacrifice of our veterans.
