High school students, here’s your chance to give back to your community, build leadership skills, and support your educational goals!
The Student Service Challenge is now accepting applications. This exciting partnership between Clay County District Schools, Clay Education Foundation, the Florida Department of Education, and the Florida Lottery gives eligible high school students the opportunity to complete 20 or more new hours of community service and write an essay focused on civic responsibility and leadership.
Upon acceptance and completion, a limited number of eligible students may earn $500 toward their educational goals.

⏰ Applications close: Monday, August 31 at 5:00 PM
📢 Accepted students will be notified: September 1, 2026

Hands-on learning at its finest! Yesterday, our Firefighting CTE students suited up, hooked up the fire hoses, and put their skills to the test. Experiences like this give our kids real-world insight into what it takes to protect and serve our community.
We are proud to host the only high school Firefighting CTE program in all of Clay County! Our students learn directly from the best, guided by active Clay County Fire & Rescue firefighter Mr. Hickson, who brings real-life experience and expertise straight into the classroom every day.
