Congratulations to this week's Zaxby's Perfect Attendance Students of the Week! They attended every class, every day and on time! Out of 901 students who met that criteria this week, these 5 students were randomly selected and earned a Zaxby's meal card! Way to go!

Yesterday, students in Ms. Corby's Geometry classes were working in groups to identify if lines were parallel, perpendicular or neither. Students could explain how to identify the relationship by looking at an equation as well as explaining the steps that they may have needed to take in order to identify how the lines related to one another.

On November 3, Clay County voters will consider the renewal of the existing One Mill ad valorem funding for four years (July 1, 2027 – June 30, 2031).
Because this measure is a renewal of the existing operating millage, it continues current funding without increasing tax rates. Revenues are strictly dedicated to two operational priorities:
School Safety: Funding law enforcement contracts for campus officers.
Employee Compensation: Providing competitive pay to retain and attract quality teachers and support staff.
All expenditures are subject to review by an independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee. Visit oneclay.net/renewal for more information.

This past Thursday, our FBLA Chapter attended the FBLA District 27 Rally, where members from Clay County, St. Johns County, and Putnam County got the chance to compete in fun competitions, develop their business leadership, and vote or even run for district office! Huge shoutout to Three of our chapters officers, who ran for district office by speaking in front of over 200 FBLA members at the District Rally:
