Orange Park Junior vs. Oakleaf Junior
Game starts at 6pm.
We divided the class into teams, and each student became a walking, talking punctuation mark—a period (.), a comma (,), quotation marks (" "), and more. Teams collaborated to identify what was missing, then students had to go to the board and hold their punctuation mark in the correct spot to complete the sentence. This makes the rules instantly more memorable!
It was a fantastic way to practice dialogue punctuation, sentence structure, and teamwork while getting everyone up and moving! No sitting around in this class—we're making grammar engaging!
Congratulations to our Oakleaf Junior Yellow Jacket football team for making the NEFAC playoffs! They will take on Orange Park Junior in the semi-finals. The game will be Tuesday 10/14 at Oakleaf High School. Game will start @ 6:00pm
