Congratulations to Mrs. Thompson, who was recognized today in Orlando as one of the Top 3 Assistant Principals in the State of Florida! This prestigious honor was presented by Senior Chancellor Dr. Paul Burns and K-12 Public Schools Chancellor Ted Roush. OHS is proud to have such an inspiring leader! Thank you, Mrs. Thompson, for the incredible impact you make every day!

Last night, 9 incredible juniors suited up and took the stage to compete for the coveted title of Mr. OHS, and what a show it was! With this year’s theme, “We Need a Hero,” each contestant chose a superhero to represent, bringing their A-game in categories like talent, formal wear, Q&A, and swimwear. Whether they were channeling the strength of Thor, the wit of Spider-Man, or the heart of Captain America, every gentleman brought their own heroic flair. From laugh-out-loud moments to seriously impressive talents, the night was full of fun, pride, and school spirit. A special thanks to 2026 Miss OHS Itzel Rojas Mancebo, 2026 Miss OHS Sweetheart Hannah Buettner, to the 2025 Mr. OHS court, Tirek Raji, Ethan Renault, and Diego Roldan and the Junior Class Board, you all worked so hard alongside each of our "heros" to make this event a success.
Congratulations:
2026 Mr. OHS - Grant Keppel
1st Runner-up "Mr. Gentlemen" - Alex Warren
2nd Runner-up - Andres Vazquez
