Reminders:
• Parking opens at 5:00 PM, the gates will open at 6:30 PM, and graduation begins at 8:00 PM.
• Parking will fill row by row. Once the school parking lot reaches capacity, entry will be closed.
• Accessible parking is available near the stadium (decal required).
• No parking is permitted on the bridge or on the grass in front of the school or stadium.
Exit Plan:
• Teachers’ Lot → Right turn only
• Student Lot (near stadium) → Left turn only at the main entrance
Staff and officers will be directing traffic. Please be patient and follow their instructions.
Expect delays near campus from 4:00 PM–11:00 PM.

2+ Miles: Students living 2 or more miles from school qualify for transportation.

Guests are advised to arrive as early as possible to avoid parking and traffic delays. Parking gates will open at 5 p.m. Stadium gates open at 6:30 p.m.
Traffic flow will reverse after the ceremony. If you are able to walk or carpool, it is highly advised.
Per CCSD, guests may not park on the grass or bridge along Plantation Oaks Blvd.
Parking is available at:
• Oakleaf High School
• Plantation Oaks Elementary
• The athletic sports complex (over the overpass)

Graduation gowns may not be altered. Dresses and skirts should not extend beyond the robe unless they are black. Students wearing pants must wear black dress pants, white collared shirt, tie or bowtie, black socks, and black dress shoes. Shoes with cork or natural fiber bottoms are acceptable if the upper shoe is black. No sneakers or flip-flops are permitted. Extremely high heels or stilettos are discouraged due to walking on grass and stairs during the ceremony.
Only approved OHS stoles and cords may be worn for graduation. Cords or stoles awarded outside of school programs are not allowed. No NSHSS stoles or personalized stoles or cords will be permitted.
Regalia order:
• Honor society v-stole first
• Wrap stole over the v-stole
• Cords on top of the stoles
• Graduation medal on top
No phones or electronic devices will be allowed at the ceremony. Graduates must leave all electronics in their car before checking in at the junior high. Photographers will be present in the cafe and on the field to document the event so graduates can remain present and enjoy these final moments together.
Graduates should arrange a family meeting location ahead of time following the ceremony.
Graduates must report to the OLJH gymnasium at 6 p.m. for check-in. Staff will check dress code, cap decorations, electronics, and prohibited items including vapes and phones.
Parking at OLJH is reserved for graduates only. After check-in, graduates will be transported by bus to the high school cafe and will remain there until it is time to walk to the field.
Following the ceremony, only graduates will be permitted to return to OLJH to pick up diplomas and vehicles.
