On Monday the MHS Vocal Ensemble traveled to First Baptist Orange Park to participate in the Clay County Choral Assessment. At this event, choirs must perform two musical selections for a panel of judges and sight-read one rhythmic and one melodic selection for a judge. The ensemble then receives scores and comments from each judge along with a rating (Poor, Fair, Good, Excellent, or Superior). The MHS Vocal Ensemble received straight Superior ratings from all judges for the performance and sight-reading portions of the assessment. Congratulations to the Singing Broncos! #HorsePower

Weather Update #1: Winter Storm Enzo - Schools and Offices Closed on Wednesday, January 22nd. Clay County is under a Winter Storm Warning, and after consulting with Emergency Management and reviewing the latest storm projections, we have determined that the timing of the storm’s impact in the morning will make it unsafe to transport students to school and for employees to commute to work. As a result, all Clay County District Schools and offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 22nd. We anticipate resuming normal operations on Thursday, January 23rd. Information regarding a make-up day for the missed instructional hours will be shared soon. Please continue to monitor our social media channels for updates. Stay safe, Clay County!
