FCCLA completed their Chick Fil A Leadership Academy Impact Project last night at Canterfield of Clay County by throwing a “Senior” Prom for the residents. When the students started the planning process they decided they wanted to make it a school community project and invited HOSA and FFA to take part. FFA created beautiful boutonnières and corsages for the residents. HOSA came through big time and were a huge part of the planning process and success of the night. We are so thankful to Chick Fil A of Middleburg for sponsoring our Leadership Academy as well as providing food and drinks for the event. Mrs. Simpson, Mrs. Fields, and Mrs. Crump are so proud of the work the students put in! It was a “roaring” good time and truly a night to remember! #HorsePower

SENIOR CLEARANCE SHEET INFO FOR 5/14/25
Any seniors that have English 1st, 2nd or 3rd period need to get their clearance sheet from guidance before school tomorrow!! #HorsePower

Here's the script in case you missed the phone call:
Good afternoon,
This is Principal Martin Aftuck with an important message about testing rescheduling for 5/14/25. This morning we had a partial power issue that caused us to delay the start of our second testing session today for some of Florida State Assessments. The issue was resolved quickly but we postponed 4th period testing to Weds morning to ensure that students were not going to be affected. AP Testing continued and finished as planned. All MHS students will report to their 4th period on Weds 5/14 from 7:20 until 10:39. We will resume our normal Wednesday schedule for 5th and 6th period. Thank you for your patience and flexibility. LET'S FINISH STRONG!
Sincerely,
Martin Aftuck
