The 2026-2027 OneClay VPK Elementary Lottery officially opens this Sunday, February 15th! Don’t let the weekend slip away—you MUST have your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) ready to upload before you can enter the lottery. If you haven't completed Step 1 yet, today is the day!

Yesterday The VyStar Academy of Business held their annual Student Manager Intern Interest Day for the 2026-2027 school year. Current MHS VyStar Interns walked interested applicants through a day/year in the life of an intern.

Our CSIT students got creative by designing Cyber Valentines, combining tech humor with cybersecurity concepts. From firewalls protecting hearts to encrypted love messages, these students showed that learning doesn't always have to be traditional. It can be both fun and innovative!

Our EKG students to had an incredible day at the Heart of Healthcare Career Day hosted by Ascension Clay!💓
They heard from a panel of different professionals in Cardiology, explored sterile processing, heard about the ER, and got to tour the Cath lab, ICU, and the ER. It was an amazing day and opened the eyes of the students to the world of cardiology. #HorsePower

Students in Mrs. Sands-Cree’s Digital Design and Entrepreneurship classes got into the Super Bowl spirit this week!
Digital Design 1 and 2 students explored how the NFL uses Adobe AI to bring fans closer to the game, then put their skills to work by creating Super Bowl–inspired tickets, advertisements, and even this year’s logo using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Meanwhile, Entrepreneurship students collaborated to develop Super Bowl marketing plans for their own original products and services, bringing their ideas to life with professional marketing visuals created in Canva.
A great week of creativity, teamwork, and real-world business and design skills in action!
