On Wednesday, students in Ms. Callaghan's classes used their extended period to engage in an Engineering project. Students were tasked with designing a structure, using paper products, that could withstand the weight of a large food can. Great job!

👾🧵 Monster Delivery Day at Lakeside Elementary! 🧵👾
Mrs. Hube’s Year Two students had a special opportunity today as they delivered their handmade monster creations to the kindergarten classes at Lakeside Elementary.
Students proudly shared their designs, explained their creative choices, and enjoyed interacting with the mini creators who were excited to receive their new monster friends. While a few students were initially a little unsure, everyone was reassured that these were friendly, kind monsters—and smiles quickly followed.
A special highlight of the day was seeing several students reconnect with former elementary teachers, making the experience even more meaningful and full circle.
This project celebrates creativity, confidence, and connection across grade levels and schools. We are so proud of our students for their craftsmanship, teamwork, and leadership as they shared their work with the next generation of creators.
