At Lakeside, we are always looking for ways to improve. We never want to be complacent for our students. Today, at our faculty meeting, we spoke about our campus walkthrough data and how we can use that to be more intentional to reach all students. Mr. Cornwell spoke about how he is able to engage with all students. Ms. Williams spoke about academic language use in her classroom. Mr. Martelle spoke about how he intentionally plans for small groups in his classroom.

Hands-On Learning in Family & Consumer Science!
Students in Mrs. Hube’s Family and Consumer Science classes put their recipe-reading and measuring skills to the test this week! Year 1 students learned how to measure wet and dry ingredients while making seasoned crackers, adding their own creative twist with a variety of seasonings.
Year 2 students took things a step further, whipping up a batch of Crockpot Candy and mentoring their younger classmates through the cooking process. A fun and flavorful day of teamwork, skill-building, and sweet success in the FCS kitchen! 👩🍳🍬
