Hands-On Learning in Family & Consumer Science! Students in Mrs. Hube’s Family and Consumer Science classes put their recipe-reading and measuring skills to the test this week! Year 1 students learned how to measure wet and dry ingredients while making seasoned crackers, adding their own creative twist with a variety of seasonings. Year 2 students took things a step further, whipping up a batch of Crockpot Candy and mentoring their younger classmates through the cooking process. A fun and flavorful day of teamwork, skill-building, and sweet success in the FCS kitchen! 👩‍🍳🍬 Awesome quality control provided by our amazing School Resource Officer. #GatorsCHOMP

Last night we hosted our First Annual Talent Show, and it was nothing short of amazing! 🎤🎸🎹🤟♟️
From stunning vocal performances and incredible guitar & piano solos, to expressive sign language and even a competitive game of chess—our students and staff truly shined on stage. 🌟
A huge thank you to Ms. Gibson and Ms. Vollman for organizing an evening where everyone could shine! Also, thank you to all of the faculty members and families who came out to support. We can’t wait to do it again next year!

Yesterday was the opening Academic Team Match of the season! We hosted Green Cove Springs Junior High School. The Gators ended the match with a win, Gators 190 vs Cougars 140. It's truly GREAT to be a Lakeside Gator. Thank you to Mr. Maly for his leadership on the Academic Team, Mr. Rufo for moderating, Mr. Kobelin for being the time keeper and Ms. McCorduck, Mr. Silverman and Ms. Bumpers for being the judges. Our Lady Gators were in action on the flag football field and on the volleyball court tonight against Orange Park Junior High. It was a great night for 3 Gator victories as the 7th grade volleyball team, 8th grade volleyball team and the flag football team all came away with a win! Thanks to the many faculty and staff members that were in attendance to support their students! #GatorsCHOMP 💙🐊🧡
