🎒 The First Day of School is Tuesday, August 11th! 🎒

Clay County families, we are so excited to welcome our students back for the 2026–2027 school year! To ensure your family is set up for a smooth and stress-free first day, please take a moment to review all essential information on our back-to-school hub:

👉 OneClay.net/BackToSchool

Here is a quick checklist of what to double-check before Tuesday morning:

⏰ School Start & End Times: Verify exact bell schedules and arrival times for your student's specific campus.

🚌 Transportation & Bus Information: Confirm bus route numbers, pickup/drop-off times, and stop locations.

🍎 Breakfast & Lunch Details: Check cafeteria menus, meal prices, and meal account setups.

📱 Communication & Focus Portal: Ensure you have downloaded the OneClay Focus app to access schedules, grades, and attendance, and check that your primary OneClay app is updated for direct messaging and school announcements.

📝 Supplies & Calendars: Review grade-level supply lists and save important academic calendar dates.

We can’t wait to see our students back in the classroom! Let's make this year extraordinary. ✨

🚲 Heads Up, Clay! Arrive Safe! 🛴

With students heading back to class this week, bike racks across Clay County are filling up fast! Whether you're riding a traditional bike, e-bike, or e-scooter, safety starts before you even step on the pedals.

Keep these quick tips in mind for a smooth ride:

  • Obey the Rules: Follow all traffic laws, stop signs, and signals.

  • Go with the Flow: Always ride with the flow of traffic, not against it.

  • Stay Alert: Ditch the distractions, look ahead, and watch for hazards.

  • Be Seen & Predictable: Use hand signals when turning or stopping so drivers know your next move.

  • Protect Your Brain: Wear a helmet—it’s Florida law for riders under 16!

⚡ E-Bike & E-Scooter Riders: Watch your speed and slow down near pedestrian zones and crosswalks!

Let’s make this school year the safest one yet! 🎒✨

We are so excited to meet all of our Gators tomorrow! Please note the following to help us have a smooth and successful orientation: Please stick to the designated grade level times.
If possible, take a screenshot of your student's schedule before arriving. When looking in FOCUS, make sure you are looking at the SCHEDULE, not the GRADEBOOK. Some classes, like CVA lab, will not show up in the gradebook.
We will have tables set up in the cafeteria if you have questions for transportation, our ESE Department, registration, athletics, etc. or need to drop off your student's TDAP form (7th grade only). We can also print your student's schedule if you do not have access to FOCUS.
We are working diligently to get schedules for our new enrollees.
If you submitted a PE Waiver, we are working on those schedules as well.
We are still working on balancing classes, so please double-check your student's schedule tomorrow morning for the most up-to-date information.
Thank you and see you on Friday!
