Mrs. Bunn's classes have been studying Forces in Science. They participated in investigations to learn about gravity and friction. Gravitational pull towards earth is the same on all objects. Heights affected distances marbles rolled and the amount of friction varied based on surfaces.
We will be celebrating Random Acts of Kindness Week beginning Tuesday, February 17th through Friday, February 20th.
A random act of kindness is a simple act which brightens someone’s day. Examples are giving to charities, offering to help a neighbor, picking up litter, etc.

We are kicking off this year’s Kids Heart Challenge at Lakeside Elementary this afternoon! With help from this year’s Heart Heroes, we’re learning all about keeping our hearts healthy through movement, kindness, rest, and knowing when to ask for help.
Students who sign up online will join the SLIME Party!
When students reach $15 in lifesaving donations, they will have chips and a drink at the slime party!
When students reach $25 in lifesaving donations, they will get 1 cup of slime to slime their choice of Mr. Little, Coach Powell, or Principal Wolfe.
