Our Little VPK students smiled and giggled their way through their first field trip. It was such a joy to see their excitement for the Dr. Seuss stories on stage. They were especially excited when two of our kiddos got picked to join the production on stage, too!

Reminder!!! Tomorrow, March 27th is the last day to place orders!!
Here are the dates for our end-of-year testing! Sharing them early for planning purposes. It is so important that our students are here on time on these days.
Our first day back from Spring Break was an active one. Mrs. Bunn's students did a card sort on the organs of the human body and their functions. Then in math they worked collaboratively at the Vertical Learning Boards converting and comparing customary lengths. The students all did a great job engaging in the learning activities.
Attention fourth grade parents- students should be arriving back on campus around 4:20 PM
Don't miss out on the opportunity to have an ice cream treat on the Early Dismissal Day - April 9. Please scan the QR code to order. The deadline to place an order is Friday, March 27.

Parents, please take a moment to Read Ms. Lee’s email from this morning for important trip details. It was sent through Synergy!
Here are some highlights:
🌦 Check the forecast: It looks like 68-degree weather with a chance of rain.
👟 Dress accordingly: Layers and rain jackets or ponchos are highly recommended!
🍱 Lunch: Every student needs to bring a packed lunch.
🚫 No Backpacks: Please leave backpacks at home; students will be given a red cinch sac to carry items.
⏰ Departure: We are leaving at 8:30 AM sharp. Please ensure your child is on time so we don't miss our bus!
📌 REMINDER: One More Day for Students!
We hope everyone enjoyed a safe and relaxing Spring Break! As you settle into your Sunday evening, please keep in mind that tomorrow, Monday, March 23, is a Teacher Planning Day.
There will be no school for students tomorrow while our educators and staff prepare for the final stretch of the school year.

VPK found that all things green are fun when you get a special note from a leprechaun. They did a jig, made some St Patrick’s Day sun catchers, went on a clover hunt, and found out green rocks really are magical when you pour vinegar over them, revealing a gold coin for each little Laker.
