Our little bears 🐻 in Ms. Reyes’ Pre-K class had so much fun this week! 💛 We painted, played, enjoyed our real bear family 🧺 picnic, and share many smiles together. 🌈 🌟

5th grade has been studying the Water Cycle. It was fun investing rain clouds using models.

Lego Club was busy building again this week. Our big challenge was to make the animal they were given on a card. Half way through the build there was a TWIST. Students were given a second animal card and had to make a hybrid animal that was half and half.

Mark your calendars!

Mrs Morrell’s Class showing Laker Pride and Celebrating Freedom Week!

Last week Ms. Spencer's class learned about the Shenandoah Valley National Park. Students learned how fold mountains are created. Some students critically examined the 170,000 acres of unused land and proposed a plan of action. Others researched life cycles of native wildlife and plants of the Shenandoah. Some students pretended to be museum curators and created labels of actual photos of the park.

Our Laker Brickies were building again this week. Our small challenge was to build anything that could float. Then, we built boats and, of course, we had to see if they floated!
