Friday’s almost here, and the chilly weather is making the upcoming Halloween night even spookier! 👻 However, please remember - Junior High is a regular school day tomorrow – it is not an early release day! ⏰ Early release is for elementary students only.
We are still wrapping up Red Ribbon Week with Freedom Friday, a day to celebrate students being free from drugs! While we are not wearing costumes tomorrow, students WILL be showing their grade spirit in the Red, White & Blue Color Battle:

It’s been an amazing week at LAJ celebrating a drug-free lifestyle! Students and teachers have rocked some incredible outfits, and we can’t wait to see which grade comes out on top tomorrow.

REMINDER: Any student wanting to participate in athletic conditioning, training, tryouts or teams MUST be registered through https://athleticclearance.com/ which requires a current Sports Physical to be uploaded in order to successfully complete registration.
The physical form required is Physical Form - EL2. (This is NOT the standard physical required for school attendance.)

*Once you have successfully completed registration, you will receive an emailed confirmation of the Athletic Clearance Form. Please sign and date this form and return it to a coach or the Athletic Director.

Picture Retake Day and Club Picture Day is November 04, 2025! Picture retakes are not open to all students. Please review the Guidelines for Retake Day:
Any students that are new since September 22nd or absent on September 22nd need to be photographed for the yearbook, synergy and student ID cards.
Any students that purchased a picture packet who would like a retake must return the picture package to the photographer on retake day- this will also serve as their pass out of class to have their picture retaken. There is not a “pre-order” option for retakes. Parents can view the proof at www.leonards.com/order under the “find my school” option a few weeks after the photo day, and a paper Second Chance proof will either be sent to the school to go home with students or it will be emailed to parents.

🌟 Don’t forget! The Glow Dance is TODAY after school! 🌟
Tickets from the original date will still be valid today. We’ll have a list of all purchases, so no physical ticket is needed. 🎟️ A few tickets are still available on MySchoolBucks! Once the Glow Dance no longer appears, that means we’re officially sold out.
If your student is unable to attend tonight but already purchased a ticket for the previous date, please have a parent or guardian email Carolyn.Scarbrough@myoneclay.net with the student name and ID number. Refunds will be processed within 5 business days.
