This past Saturday, the Keystone Heights Speech and Debate Team took the stage at the FCDI Statewide Tournament held at Santa Fe College in Gainesville. With more than 500 students competing, the event was both challenging and inspiring from start to finish.
We’re proud to celebrate our standout performers:
⭐ Cali Chamberlain — 4th Place in Novice Impromptu Speaking
⭐ Rebekah Lugo — 3rd Place in Declamation
A huge thank you to Ms. Bagasan for generously giving her time to judge—your support makes these opportunities possible.
And congratulations to all of our students who competed! Every participant represented Keystone Heights with tremendous effort, courage, and growth. 💙🎤📚

National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day serves as a solemn reminder of the cost of freedom.
Clay County District Schools joins the nation in honoring the memory of those who perished at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and recognizing the strength of the generation that followed.
We teach our students the importance of remembering history and respecting the sacrifice of our veterans.

Students were knocking it out of the park in Mrs. Saunders's class today! Their high level benchmark conversations in collaborative groups were impressive! She facilitated students in explaining their thinking, correcting each other's work, asking great questions, and even not being afraid of making mistakes with effective corrections. Learning is worth the hard work because hard work makes the knowledge last! #OneTribe #IndianStrong
