Reality Check yesterday was very enlightening for students to see what their finances could potentially look like! We loved watching them make important decisions. Our volunteers in our community are the BEST!! Thank you to Isaac Morford and his team in Community Partnership Schools for doing an awesome job coordinating this event. We appreciate our teachers for prepping students and turning them loose to save and spend their money. #OneTribe

Awesome example of collaborative teaching and collaborative work in Mrs. Geiger, Mrs. Mobley, and Mrs. Menser’s Algebra class yesterday. Students were taking what they learned from the lesson and having excellent conversations about the work to take a deeper dive. They were great at correcting each other’s work and explaining the steps to solve the problem instead of just asking for the answers! In this class they know that mistakes are okay because understanding where you went wrong is a great way to learn and not just memorize! Great work! #IndianStrong #OneTribe

Students built balloon powered water bottle cars using Newton's laws and the scientific method to create the best design in Mrs. Szatmari's class on Friday. Then they conducted repeated trials, gathered data and created graphs to show their results. This activity was another chance to show Mastery of the Nature of Science standards and brought in benchmarks from the Unit on Space. #IndianStrong
