Today in Mr. Coker’s World History class, students worked together to investigate the Byzantine Empire. They analyzed historical evidence, sorted examples into continuity, departure, or both, and decided whether the Byzantine Empire was truly a continuation of ancient Rome, or something new. Great teamwork and historical thinking in action!

❤️🤍💙 9/11 Heroes’ Day | National Day of Remembrance 🕊️
Today, September 11th, Clay County District Schools pauses to honor the lives lost, the courageous first responders who rushed toward danger, and the countless heroes whose bravery shone on one of our nation’s darkest days.
On this National Day of Remembrance, our students and staff reflect on the selflessness, unity, and resilience that defined our country following September 11, 2001. Through meaningful classroom reflection and age-appropriate civics lessons, we ensure that the legacy of these heroes inspires the next generation.
Today, we invite our Clay County community to join us in taking a moment of quiet reflection to honor those we lost and thank the local heroes who keep us safe every day.
We will never forget. ❤️

Ms. Velez transformed language practice into a lively social experience where students laughed and conversed in French, while Mr. Robbins turned everyday craftsmanship into an exciting project, helping his students build practical trash can platform holders from scratch. KHH is a fun place to explore new things!

As part of American Founders' Month, this National Day of Remembrance is a time for our school family to stand together in unity, honor the memory of those lost, and pay tribute to the courage of our first responders. 🕊️❤️
We look forward to seeing a sea of red, white, and blue across all of our schools tomorrow!

Labor Day is a moment to honor the effort, perseverance, and dedication of working individuals everywhere. At Keystone Heights Jr/Sr High, we see that same commitment every day in our teachers who inspire, our staff who keep our school running smoothly, our parents who work tirelessly to support their children, and our students who show up ready to grow and learn.
We hope everyone had a relaxing day off.
