Today, September 11th, Clay County District Schools pauses to honor the lives lost, the courageous first responders who rushed toward danger, and the countless heroes whose bravery shone on one of our nation’s darkest days.
On this National Day of Remembrance, our students and staff reflect on the selflessness, unity, and resilience that defined our country following September 11, 2001. Through meaningful classroom reflection and age-appropriate civics lessons, we ensure that the legacy of these heroes inspires the next generation.

🔹 9th & 10th graders will test with their English teachers.
🔹 Juniors & seniors who still need a concordant score will take the FAST ELA Retake with their Intensive Reading teachers.
Please remember that these are still instructional days, and all students are expected to attend school as usual.

We have upcoming PSAT testing on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. This is a great opportunity to practice for the SAT and can be used to meet specific graduation requirements!

🗓 JUNIORS & SENIORS: Do you still need a required test score for graduation? This is a chance for you to take it.
🎓 JUNIORS ONLY: This is also the test you must take if you are trying to qualify for the prestigious National Merit Scholarship program.
