For the past seven years, Julie Dover has served as Assistant Principal of Fleming Island Elementary, providing support to the entire school community and cultivating a culture of high expectations. Mrs. Dover has actively engaged in community and family partnerships to establish positive behavior incentives and supports for students. She has also played an integral part in FIE earning the Model School Award for PBIS . Her commitment to academic success is evident in the school maintaining its ‘A’ grade for all seven years. Prior to this role, Mrs. Dover spent eleven years in different instructional positions, including Exceptional Student Education Teacher, Reading Coach, Title 1 Interventionist, and General Education Teacher in both Clay and Alachua Counties. Mrs. Dover earned a B.A. in Elementary Education and Exceptional Student Education from Indiana University. She earned a M. Ed in Educational Leadership from University of North Florida and has recently completed her level II certification for school principal. She is a proud Mom of two boys, Brock, a rising 5th grader, and Dak, a rising 1st grader. Mrs. Dover is committed to building strong relationships with all stakeholders. Her love for students and teachers is at the heart of all she does each day. She is excited about bringing her experience and passion to the Blue Devil community!

Clay County District Schools Food & Nutrition Services is excited to announce our Summer 2026 Food Service Program! From June 8th to July 31st, all children ages 18 and under can receive free, nutritious meals.

No applications are required! We have two types of meal options available Monday through Friday depending on the location:

🚗 USDA Rural Sites (Off-Site Pick-up / Grab & Go)
Parents/children can pick up a hot lunch and a cold breakfast for the next day to enjoy at home!
⏰ Time: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

• Keystone Elementary, McRae Elementary, Shadowlawn Elementary, Wilkinson Elementary

🍽️ USDA Non-Rural Sites (On-Site Consumption / Dine-In)

It’s time to start planning for the upcoming school year! Registering early allows our transportation team to build the safest and most efficient bus routes for all students.

We have extended the deadline for bus registration to July 31.
