Coming off yesterday’s HUGE win against the Chargers, the Jaguars are 6-4 heading into the home stretch. There are 3 home games remaining, with the next one being December 7th vs. the division-rival and division-leading Colts.

Just a reminder, November's VOLUNTARY STEAM Family Project is due by Friday, November 21st. Your challenge is to create something (anything) using one can of Play Doh (any size or brand)! We can't wait to see what you create, engineers!

Wendy Mass, along with Rebecca Stead, has written numerous books in our library! She shared her love of libraries, what inspires her, and her love of orange cats! Thank you for meeting with our students, Wendy!

Don't forget that Run/Walk is tomorrow. Please wear your tennis shoes and bring a water bottle. We will be doing indoor movement activities if we are unable to go outside due to weather.

Who’s the Biggest Turkey? The students in your class may earn some extra fun time with Coach Benton if your teacher is voted the “BIGGEST TURKEY”. Simply buy one or more feathers to add to the turkey belonging to your teacher. Watch their tail feathers GROW all week long. The class with the most feathers on their teacher’s turkey will earn some extra fun time outside with Coach Benton. Turkey feathers are 4 for $1.00 and the sale began November 12th. This fundraiser will help support your resource classes at Clay Hill. Thank you for your support!

C.H.E. Parents! Our Turkey Trot is in trouble! We need a minimum number of student participants in order to hold our 1-Mile Fun Run after school on Monday, November 17. Please click the link below to let us know if your child(ren) will participate. Parents may run/walk, watch, volunteer a spot on the course, or just come to pick up their child at 4:00 pm. We are accepting donations for the Safe Animal Shelter at the event, but this is not required. We hope to see your child (and you) there!

Today, on Veterans Day, Clay County District Schools pauses to honor the brave men and women who have served in all branches of the United States Armed Forces.

Looking for a meaningful way to observe Veterans Day? The Camp Blanding Museum is hosting a special ceremony and celebration tomorrow, November 11th.

Event Highlights:

⭐ FREE T-SHIRTS: The first 100 veterans to arrive will receive a free limited-edition t-shirt!

🍔 WWII-PRICED LUNCH: After the ceremony, they will be serving lunch with food at nostalgic WWII prices.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to gather and show appreciation for all who served.
