Clay County District Schools is excited to offer our VPK Summer Bridge Program, designed to help students build the skills they need for a strong start in kindergarten!

📅 Registration opens April 20, 2026

⚠️ Important: Your child must be currently enrolled in VPK during the 2025–2026 school year to be eligible for this program.

This program provides targeted support to help students strengthen early learning skills, build confidence, and feel ready for day one of kindergarten.

It’s time for one of our favorite traditions at Clay County District Schools—Elementary Graduation Walks! Before you walk across the big stage, we’re inviting you to walk the halls of your elementary school one more time. Reconnect with former teachers, take photos, and get cheered on by the next generation of graduates!

The Details:

📍 Where: Any CCDS elementary school.

🎓 Attire: You MUST wear your cap and gown to participate.

🗓️ When: Only at designated dates and times set by each elementary school.

✅ Action Item: Coordinate with your high school Senior Sponsors to confirm your participation!

We heard you, Clay County! 🗣️ After reviewing over 20,000 survey responses, the Clay County School Board has officially voted to keep our school start times unchanged for the 2026-2027 school year.

We want to extend a huge thank you to the parents, students, staff, and community members who shared their feedback. Your voice played a critical role in this decision, and the data showed a clear preference for maintaining our current schedules.

Secondary, Elementary, and Junior High bell times will remain exactly as they are now. For a full breakdown of the survey results and the final schedule, please visit our website:
