United in Orange: Choosing Kindness, Acceptance, and Inclusion Across Clay County! 🧡

Today, campuses across Clay County District Schools were transformed into an inspiring sea of bright orange in honor of Unity Day! From classrooms holding up colorful reminders to “be a buddy, not a bully” to students linking arms in solidarity on the playground, our school family sent one loud, unmistakable message: in Clay County, every single student belongs.

Standing together against bullying and choosing kindness, acceptance, and inclusion isn’t something we practice for just one day in October—it is the foundation of who we are every single day. Seeing our students smiling side-by-side and our educators leading with empathy and heart showcases the incredible strength and unity of our community.

Here is how you can help carry today's momentum forward:

Share this post to help spread our message of kindness and inclusion across the wider community.

Talk about it at home tonight: Ask your students how they showed kindness at school today, or what being a good buddy looks like to them.

Keep the spirit going: Because unity is more than an event—it’s #UnityEveryDay.

Thank you to every student, teacher, and staff member who wore orange today and chose kindness. We are prouder than ever to be #OneClay! 🧡

🎉 BIG NEWS, CLAY COUNTY! 🎉

Clay County District Schools has officially been named one of only 18 Academically High-Performing School Districts in the entire state of Florida for the 2025–2026 school year by the Florida Department of Education!

This prestigious recognition reflects our dedication to academic excellence, operational accountability, and student success across every classroom.

To earn and maintain this status, school districts must meet rigorous state benchmarks:

Academic Excellence: Earn an "A" district grade for two consecutive years without any district-operated school receiving an "F."

Classroom Focus: Fully comply with state class size requirements.

Fiscal Responsibility: Maintain clean annual financial audits with no material weaknesses or compliance issues.

This milestone is a direct result of the commitment of our teachers, support professionals, administrators, and district leadership under Superintendent David Broskie, paired with the hard work of our students and the steadfast support of our families and community.

Thank you for believing in our students and making Clay County a leader in Florida public education! 📚✨
