Today the WEC Jr Humane Society kicked off with their first meeting. Students were introduced to Apep the ball python. They learned many cool facts about snakes!

Science in 1st Grade :
Science safety with fun experiments! Color mixing and talking about science tools. 1st grade had fun learning about colors and how they mix to create new colors. Day one was spent asking questions and making predictions . We experimented using beakers, water and food coloring . Day two we designed our own beakers then mixed colors using watercolors . After we reviewed what we learned and how science tools help us conduct experiments safely .
Open House is September 23rd from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
