Congratulations to Tynes Elementary's Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Kelsey McMillan! Kelsey is a 2nd grade teacher who excels at building strong classroom community, holds high standards for all students, and creates partnerships with families through consistent communication. Way to go, Kelsey! We look forward to celebrating you at the Apple Awards on January 22nd 2026.

Custodian Robert Johnson has been selected as Tynes Elementary's School Related Employee of the Year. You will surely recognize Mr. Robert from campus, as he stands tall but is always smiling. Robert was selected for his commitment to supporting his peers on the custodial team and always being ready to lend a helping hand on campus with jobs big or small. We will celebrate his success at the Apple Awards on January 22nd 2026. Congratulations, Robert!

PreK-2nd grade Tynes Tigers, we'd love to see you Friday for some family fun and some free ice cream. RSVP with the QR code by Wednesday so we make sure we have enough sprinkles!

Thanks to all the dads and father figures who pre-registered. If we had your ID on file (you've been scanned through Raptor previously) we will have your visitors badge pre-printed and available outside the front office at a table for you to pick up. If you missed the deadline, or you haven't had your ID scanned, you'll need to stop in the office to get your badge.

Either way, we are thrilled to welcome ALL of you on Friday morning. We will open the front parent gate at 8:05. There will be a fall photo op station set up in the breezeway where we will have a professional photographer taking photos which will be available on our feed after she edits them. Then, you are welcome to walk your child(ren) to their homeroom class to see them off for their day. We are so excited to see you on Friday morning!

Last call for our dads and other father figures to pre-register for Friday's event. If yo u do not pre-register and have your ID scanned in advance, you will have to wait in line on Friday before entering campus.

Don't forget--the first Skate Night of the 2025-2026 school year happens tonight! Come spend time with your family and friends as you support the TES Safety Patrol Team!
