The Spring Park Elementary Chorus had a great time performing the National Anthem at the Jacksonville Icemen Game this past Saturday! Thank you to everyone who attended the event and supported our music program. 🎶 Congratulations to all our talented performers and our one lucky scholar who caught some cool swag!

Some of our 4th grade scholars had enough positive behavior PBIS points to buy their classes a picnic "lunch bunch" outside today. Other 4th grade classes earned leader points that were redeemed today also to have a beautiful grade level picnic lunch together outside!!! What a great way to spend a Friday! 🫶

Attention current 6th grade parents.... Additional Requirements for upcoming 7th Graders: In addition to compliance with all other immunization requirements, children entering, attending, or transferring to the 7th grade in Florida schools must complete the following: One Tetanus-diphtheria-acellular pertussis (Tdap). A completed DH 680 form must be provided as proof. If you are unsure if your student has already met this requirement, or others, please reach out to your child's provider. Artist alert! The Van and Sandra Royal Kids with heART Gallery in the Pediatric Emergency Waiting Room of Ascension St. Vincent’s Clay County campus has NEW artwork on display. The artwork for March was created by students at Spring Park Elementary. Way to go, Owls!

Weather Update # 2: Schools and District Offices Open Thursday, January 23rd. Clay County District Schools will reopen and resume classes tomorrow, Thursday, January 23rd. Weather Update #1: Winter Storm Enzo - Schools and Offices Closed on Wednesday, January 22nd. Clay County is under a Winter Storm Warning, and after consulting with Emergency Management and reviewing the latest storm projections, we have determined that the timing of the storm’s impact in the morning will make it unsafe to transport students to school and for employees to commute to work. As a result, all Clay County District Schools and offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 22nd. We anticipate resuming normal operations on Thursday, January 23rd. Information regarding a make-up day for the missed instructional hours will be shared soon. Please continue to monitor our social media channels for updates. Stay safe, Clay County!
