Over the past few weeks, 4th grade students have been creating collaborative football fields centered on analyzing area and perimeter. Last week, the class participated in a gallery walk, where they calculated the area and perimeter of other groups’ fields. Students not only applied their knowledge of area and perimeter, but also used strategies to multiply two-digit by two-digit numbers. #alwaysagreatdayatsbj
