Teachers typically spend around $500 each year out of their own pockets on essential classroom supplies. They could really use your support! The Adopt a Classroom program tackles the issue of insufficient resources that hinder teacher effectiveness and student success. By doing so, we significantly enhance the chances of success for both teachers and students in the classroom, while fostering a sense of pride and respect within our local community. Mrs. Conomea and Mrs. Diaz's 5th grade surgeons worked diligently today to save Myrtle the Turtle who was in need of 8 different operations, including an appendectomy, heart surgery, and brain surgery. The young surgeons entered the operating room with confidence! They worked as a team to solve order of operations problems to successfully complete each of the surgeries. It was a challenging but successful feat, and Myrtle the Turtle will live to see another day! Great job, fifth-grade surgical teams! You rock! ⭐
