Clay County District Schools is transitioning to the Focus Student Information System (SIS) for the 2026-2027 school year. Focus will become your new hub for checking grades, attendance, and scheduling, replacing Synergy ParentVUE and StudentVUE.

🗓️ Important Dates for a Smooth Transition:

June 25: Access to Synergy ParentVUE ends. (Be sure to download any report cards you'd like to keep before this date! 📄)

July 6: The new Focus portal and mobile app go live! 📱

⚠️ One Quick Step to Prepare:
To ensure you receive instructions on how to access your new Focus account via email this July, please log in to ParentVUE before June 25 to verify that your email and phone number are correct.

Clay County District Schools Food & Nutrition Services is excited to announce our Summer 2026 Food Service Program! From June 8th to July 31st, all children ages 18 and under can receive free, nutritious meals.

No applications are required! We have two types of meal options available Monday through Friday depending on the location:

🚗 USDA Rural Sites (Off-Site Pick-up / Grab & Go)
Parents/children can pick up a hot lunch and a cold breakfast for the next day to enjoy at home!
⏰ Time: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
📍 Locations:
• Keystone Elementary, McRae Elementary, Shadowlawn Elementary, Wilkinson Elementary

🍽️ USDA Non-Rural Sites (On-Site Consumption / Dine-In)
Children must eat their hot meals at the school during the designated times.
⏰ Times: Monday – Friday | Breakfast: 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM | Lunch: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Mrs. McCarty, second grade teacher, has been a PES teacher for over 20 years. Her dedication to her students, their families and her team have been a phenomenal staple at PES. Mrs. McCarty has been a PES teacher for over 20 years. Her dedication to her students, their families and her team have been a phenomenal staple at PES. Her caring demeanor for her students attributes to their success and cultivates their love for learning. Mrs. Sumner our Records Secretary works tirelessly each day to ensure that student's records, schedule, etc. are up-to-date and in compliance. She is always welcoming and greets our staff and parents with a bright smile and a kind heart. In addition to her duties she is always willing to step in and assist on campus wherever she is needed. 6th Grade Promotion Ceremony: Save the Date!
We are excited to celebrate our promoting 6th graders on Tuesday, May 26th, at 6:30 PM. The ceremony will be held at River Christian Church (5900 US-17, Fleming Island, FL 32003).

While tickets are not required for entry this year, we kindly ask that you be mindful of the venue’s seating capacity when inviting guests. For friends and family members who are unable to attend in person, we are pleased to share that the ceremony will be live-streamed through our school Facebook account.

We look forward to celebrating this big step with our Manatee families!
