Coming off yesterday’s HUGE win against the Chargers, the Jaguars are 6-4 heading into the home stretch. There are 3 home games remaining, with the next one being December 7th vs. the division-rival and division-leading Colts.

Collaborative Carousel- Mrs. Gottschalk's students wrote and illustrated, including sentence balloons, to retell a story. They passed their work and the next student wrote the next part.
After a student wrote the mayor a letter asking her about her job, Mayor Rodenroth visited our school and told our 2nd graders about her job!
Our 3rd grade teachers, along with our reading coach, met parents in our library to teach them strategies to use at home to promote reading!
We celebrated Mrs. Millie Thompson's Retirement today! Once a Maverick, Always a Maverick! Thank you for your dedication to our students!

Our Veterans' Day Program- we said the Pledge of Allegiance together, our chorus sang Star Spangled Banner and a student read a Veterans' Day poem. We had special visitors.

⭐ FREE T-SHIRTS: The first 100 veterans to arrive will receive a free limited-edition t-shirt!
🍔 WWII-PRICED LUNCH: After the ceremony, they will be serving lunch with food at nostalgic WWII prices.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to gather and show appreciation for all who served.
