Dear MRE Families,

We will be celebrating "Dads Take Your Child to School Day" on Friday, September 18th in accordance with the Florida Department of Education state event day. We encourage all of our Dads or Father Figures to bring your child for morning drop off on that day!

Dads will check in the Front Office and will walk their child to class. Parents will NOT be permitted to enter the classroom.

In order to make this event run smoothly, we are asking that you RSVP to this event. If you have not already had your Driver’s License scanned into Raptor at the school, we encourage you to stop by the Front Office prior to this event to do so.

❤️🤍💙 9/11 Heroes’ Day | National Day of Remembrance 🕊️

Today, September 11th, Clay County District Schools pauses to honor the lives lost, the courageous first responders who rushed toward danger, and the countless heroes whose bravery shone on one of our nation’s darkest days.

On this National Day of Remembrance, our students and staff reflect on the selflessness, unity, and resilience that defined our country following September 11, 2001. Through meaningful classroom reflection and age-appropriate civics lessons, we ensure that the legacy of these heroes inspires the next generation.

Today, we invite our Clay County community to join us in taking a moment of quiet reflection to honor those we lost and thank the local heroes who keep us safe every day.

We will never forget. ❤️

❤️🤍💙 REMINDER: Wear Your Patriotic Colors Tomorrow!

Tomorrow, September 11th, is 9/11 Heroes’ Day. We encourage all Clay County District Schools students, teachers, and staff to wear red, white, and blue to school.

As part of American Founders' Month, this National Day of Remembrance is a time for our school family to stand together in unity, honor the memory of those lost, and pay tribute to the courage of our first responders. 🕊️❤️

We look forward to seeing a sea of red, white, and blue across all of our schools tomorrow!
