Students in Ms.Kinnetts 4th and 5th grade classes engaged in a “Book Tasting” today! They used the book preview protocol they’ve been learning in benchmark advance to preview and then read different genres of text, and recorded their findings in a data collection menu!

We have had a book tasting to introduce our Sunshine State Young Reader titles, had a scavenger hunt to explore the library, and learned how to take care of books using the Blooket game on the Chromebooks! Whew! Round 3 is already underway with Mrs. Lewis as our students are introduced to our new counselor."
