Today was a fun and joy-filled day as we continued celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week! Faculty and staff enjoyed delicious wings from Chubby’s, cooled off with a refreshing lemonade bar from The Main Squeeze, and were surprised with a $25 gift card!

Next week will begin our state testing for ELA 9th and 10th grade, Biology, Algebra I, Geometry, and U.S. History. Students will take their assessment on their assigned period's day at 7:20. Please make sure to be here on time for your testing day. The second block during testing week is designed for assessment review and prep.
Starting on Monday, we will have a special schedule. Please see the graphics for Clay High's special testing schedules next week.
Enjoyed participating in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Florida! It was an honor to walk alongside our incredible Clay High students, faculty, and staff, and connect with the dedicated members of our Sheriff’s Department. All proceeds go directly to supporting the amazing athletes of Special Olympics—what a great cause and community event!
State testing is just one week away!
State assessments will take place from May 6–13. The following exams will be administered during this time:
FAST (Grades 9 & 10)
Algebra 1 EOC
Geometry EOC
Biology EOC
U.S. History EOC
Students will test in their subject area teacher’s classroom, unless they have specific accommodations. Students will test at 7:20 on the date that matches the period that they have the class. See the graphic for the exact date.
Additionally, Algebra 1 Retakes and FAST Retakes for students needing concordant scores for graduation will take place this Thursday and Friday.
We are holding a special Saturday CLT test session for any senior who needs a concordant score for graduation on Saturday, May 10th. You can pay for the exam on MySchoolBucks.

Clay High will host the Algebra 1 EOC retakes on May 1st and 2nd and FAST ELA 10th retakes on May 2nd and 5th for students who need to retake these tests for graduation requirements.
Clay High will also host our FAST 9th and 10th, Algebra 1 EOC, Geometry EOC, Biology EOC, and U.S. History EOC on May 6-13. Students will take these tests with their subject area teacher on their assigned day.

Important testing announcements!
This week, we will start our AICE testing window, and we will host the Florida Civics Literacy Exam for seniors who are currently taking a Government course.
On May 1st and 2nd, Clay High will host the Algebra 1 EOC retakes.
On May 5th, FAST ELA Retakes will be given, and our AP testing will begin.
May 6th-13th will be our State testing window. FAST 9th & 10th ELA exams, Algebra 1 EOCs, Geometry EOCs, U.S. History EOCs, and Biology EOCs will be given during this time. During our Blue Devil Breakout time today, students will be filling out their testing schedule so they know which days they test and which tests they are taking.
