New Worlds Reading sends free books and activities straight to Florida families, helping students build confidence and strong reading skills at home.
Here’s how it works:
✨ 9 free books each year (through 5th grade) — your child gets to choose!
✨ Family activities included — simple, fun ways to support reading at home
✨ Expert-selected books — curated by the UF Lastinger Center for Learning and Scholastic, in partnership with the Florida Department of Education
Who can sign up?
✔️ VPK–5th grade students
✔️ Enrolled in a Florida public, charter, or VPK program
✔️ Not yet meeting grade-level reading expectations
✔️ No income requirements!
