It’s time to lace up your sneakers! We are excited to invite you to the Resolution Fun Run, a fantastic PE fundraiser where our school earns money based purely on how many people show up to support us.
The best part? It is completely free to participate!
Event Details
When: Saturday, January 17th
Time: 9:30 AM
Where: bestbet of Orange Park
The Goal: Complete a 1-mile walk or run.
How You Can Help
Our school’s funding for this event depends entirely on participation. Every single person who completes the mile for Coppergate Elementary counts toward our grand total.
We encourage you to bring the whole crew—friends, grandparents, cousins, and neighbors are all welcome! It’s a wonderful way to kick off the new year with some healthy family exercise while supporting our PE department.
No pre-registration is required but the registration form is attached. Just show up, look for the Coppergate sign at the registration area, and walk or run with us!
We can't wait to see a "sea of Coppergate" at the starting line. Let’s work together to make this our biggest turnout yet!

Check out these tips to help us all arrive safe:
🚶 WALK SAFE! - Heads Up, Phone Down! Use sidewalks and cross only at corners and crosswalks. Look LEFT-RIGHT-LEFT before crossing. Be seen!
🚲 RIDE SAFE! (Bikes, E-Bikes, & E-Scooters) - Helmet On: It’s the LAW for riders under 16. Obey all stop signs and traffic lights. Ride with traffic and stay bright! Yield to walkers on the sidewalk.
⚡ E-Riders: You are fast and quiet. Drivers don't always expect you—be extra alert and slow down at intersections!
🚌 BUS SAFE! - Wait in a safe place well away from the road. Board or cross ONLY when the driver gives you the "OK" signal. Stay seated and keep the aisle clear.
Drivers: Please review the "School Bus Safety Rules" graphic below so you know exactly when you MUST stop! 🛑
🚗 DRIVE SAFE! - Slow down, especially in school zones. Look twice for kids at every intersection, driveway, and crosswalk. Give bikes 3 feet! Put the phone away and focus on the road.

🐆 A Championship Win for Our Community! 🏆
We are bursting with pride for our Coppergate School of the Arts 4th and 5th graders! Some of our amazing students have been building incredible bonds at the Middleburg Rehabilitation and Nursing facility.
From reading and art projects at bedsides, to BINGO and sharing quiet moments over a game of cards, our students have shown us exactly what true compassion and community service look like in action.
🏈 Celebrating in the Honor Rows
To reward their hard work and dedication, our students were invited to the Jacksonville Jaguars game on September 21st as part of the Honor Rows program! It was an unforgettable day! Not only did we get to celebrate our students, but we watched the Jags beat the Texans 17-10, securing the very first win of their incredible AFC Championship title run!
Our students and volunteers were treated like true VIPs with:
A free ticket to the game
Custom t-shirts, hats, and keychains
A delicious lunch
We had an absolute blast cheering on the Jags and celebrating the meaningful impact these kids have made right here in Middleburg.
🌟 The Journey Continues
This project has been such a success that our students have asked to keep the momentum going! We are thrilled to announce that Coppergate will continue visiting the facility to keep these beautiful friendships growing.
A huge thank you to Honor Rows and the Jacksonville Jaguars for supporting our students as they learn to lead with their hearts.
