Dual Enrollment Coordinator: Email Jackie Welch
Our Dual Enrollment program provides eligible accelerated high school students with the opportunity to earn college credit while simultaneously earning their high school diplomas. Application/Registration Process:
Before starting the application process, please speak with or email Ms. Jackie Welch, our DE Coordinator, or your school counselor, for guidance on the application process. Students must complete an application by clicking on this link to access the St. Johns River State College Online Application.
Registration Tips:
Print a copy of your ACT or SAT scores directly from your CollegeBoard or ACT account and turn it in with your consent form. If you use PERT scores, ask Ms. Flynn, our Testing Coordinator, to print your test score report.
Submit your Dual Enrollment Information Sheet, a signed consent form (printed at the end of the online application), and your official test scores to Mrs. Welch.
You need to discuss what classes you plan to take with your assigned School Counselor before meeting with Mrs. Welch so that you know you are in alignment with your graduation requirements.
If you are going to take classes on the St. Johns campus (or online), you will need to meet with Mrs. Welch to register for the specific classes you want to take. Be sure that you and a parent have looked at the schedule for that semester on the SJR State website before meeting with Mrs. Welch. We recommend that you select your first choice classes and then a backup choice in case it is full.
Deadlines for completed paperwork and registering are very early, be sure to check with your School Counselor for the deadlines for each semester.
