Dear Parents and Community Members,
Welcome to Swimming Pen Creek Elementary. It is an honor to be a school leader in the same area that I have lived and raised my children.
Swimming Pen Creek Elementary is located on the outskirts of Fleming Island. We have approximately 500 students on our campus. Swimming Pen Creek Elementary hosts two school settings on one campus. We host the Montessori program for the Clay County School District. Our Montessori program starts at 3 years old to 6th grade. Students in our Montessori classroom embrace the curriculum, concepts and peaceful environment that makes this program so well known. We also host a traditional setting for Kindergarten through 6th grade. While the school has two different classroom settings, all of our students receive a full academic curriculum with resource classes in art, music, media, and physical education. Swimming Pen Creek Elementary has been an A rated school since 2019.
Our parents and community are the backbone of our success. Swimming Pen Creek Elementary has an open door policy, and we welcome volunteers. We believe that as educators our job is to provide our students the absolute best foundation for their educational future. We believe all students can learn and be College or Career ready. It is through our collective commitment that Swimming Pen Creek students achieve such great success. We encourage participation from the community and parents through our PFA. We offer various opportunities throughout the year for parents and community members to volunteer time in the classrooms, from home or during special events.
It is a privilege to be a part of Swimming Pen Creek Elementary, and I am blessed to work with such wonderful, caring and dedicated individuals. I look forward to spending time in the classroom with your children and helping them grow. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas.
