Elementary schools within Clay County will participate in this campaign. Fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, foster fathers and other male role models are invited to take their children to school on September 27. This year, FLDOE is highlighting the service that military fathers provide to both our country and their children.
“Family involvement is key to student success inside and outside the classroom. Dads Take Your Child to School Day is a wonderful opportunity to highlight the important role that fathers and male role models have in each child’s life, and how their contributions significantly impact academic excellence. We look forward to celebrating this special day as a state and as a district,” said Superintendent Addison Davis.
